Team Uganda defended their Jubilee free race overall trophy after dominating the fifth edition held on Sunday 27th November, 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Uganda that had won all the four previous editions was sponsored by Jubilee Insurence to the one-day event that attracts over 3000 cyclists from all over the world.
Uganda dominated in the main race with Jordan Schleck Ssekanwagi defending his title, while Charles Kagimu, who scooped Silver last year, finished third behind Kenya’s Evans Wangai.
In Black Mamba category, Dominic Mugonda was the victor with Kenya’s Ian Mambo coming second while Uganda’s Samuel Ssabagwanyi came third.
The under 23 women category title was retained by Uganda’s Mary Aleper while Uganda also dominated the men’s side with Mugalu Shafic and Lorot Lawrence coming second and third, respectively.
The para category was won by Uganda with Ronald Yiga coming top ahead of Kenya’s Ismail Kirya while Uganda’s Gabriel Ambuko was third.
The Para category of hearing impaired was won by Uganda as Martin Kateregga topped the charts with Kenya’s Silas Agesa coming second while Ugandan’s Josephat Kamau came third.
