The 2026 edition of the Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens is scheduled for September 26-27 at Kyadondo Rugby Club.
This tournament launched at the Uganda media center is part of the inaugural Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens Series and will serve as the continental qualifier for the 2027 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Division Three.
Eight countries; Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, Zambia, Tunisia, Senegal and hosts Uganda will compete for the solitary ticket to the World Series.
Uganda is a four-time African champion and are firm favourites to turn out victorious. However, the country has never progressed to the World Series as a core side.
