The American Chamber of Commerce in Uganda (AmCham Uganda) on Tuesday confirmed that the 2026 AmCham Uganda Golf Open will take place on Saturday, 4 July 2026 at the Uganda golf course, Kitante.
The premier business networking and sporting event holds special significance this year as it commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence.

The tournament will bring together diplomats, government officials, corporate executives, and members of the business community to mark this historic milestone through sport and fellowship.
Under the theme “Freedom 250,” the event celebrates the enduring commercial and investment partnership between the United States and Uganda, while highlighting the resilience and innovation that define “The American Edge” in global business.
This year’s tournament promises exceptional excitement with a Hole-in-One Challenge, sponsored by Motorcare Uganda with players who land a hole-in-one on the designated hole set to drive away in a brand-new 2026 JMC Vigus Double Cabin (Automatic).
Participants will also have the opportunity to win a range of prizes, including two return tickets courtesy of Qatar Airways.
The event will also feature professional golf clinics for beginners, providing a welcoming environment for first-time players, alongside dedicated initiatives to support the development of young golfing talent through our Junior Golf Experience.
