Over 125 participants from several clubs took part in the 2nd National beach woodball circuit held at Bunjako beach, Mpigi district.
In the senior category women, Mirembe Sanyu of Kampala university won with 40 strokes, Nanjeru Denise of Kyambogo university was in second position while Shakirah Naguddi of Kampala international university finished third with 46 strokes.
In the Seniors, Gwaka Brian of Kampala international university (KIU) came top in men with 32 strokes as Edison Twesigye of MUBS came second with 37 strokes. Byamukama Bridge of KIU finished third with 38 strokes. In the men’s corporate category,
Erick Enabu of UNEB took the lead with 37 strokes with Jackson Masiga of University of Kisubi coming second with 42 strokes while Peter Mutyaba of Ministry of public service was third with similar gross.
In the Corporates women category, patience Tusubira of Ministry of public service won with 51 strokes, Kifaya Musa of Zoe was second with 55 Strokes while Pincline Atwine of Ministry of public service was third with 57 strokes.
