Scrap Buyers have made a strong start to the National Pool League campaign, emerging as the early leaders after maintaining an unbeaten run through the opening match days.
The side currently tops the standings with 18 points, one point ahead of Roxberry on 17, while Upper Volta are third with 16 points.
They recorded three wins during the latest round at Adi’s Kireka.
Roxberry remain within touching distance of the leaders after an impressive outing at Amigos in Kansanga, where they won three matches.
Upper Volta have also declared their intentions after a perfect match day at their Kasubi home.
The National Pool League will continue this weekend, with all 16 teams divided into four groups. Each team will play three matches during the day’s programme.
The Women’s National Pool League is also expected to begin this weekend, with seven teams set to take part in the opening round.
