Over 80 riders are expected to feature in the 6th round of the Mt dew national motocross championship which will also act as the final preparation event for FIM Africa next month in Windhoek Namibia.

The event is organized by the Enduro Club Uganda, and Peter Kigozi, the event manager, says that the track is ready and riders should be braced for serious competition at smart beach in Mityana.
During the launch of the event, Kisitu Mayanja, the Clark Of the Course, highlighted that the track has been designed to suit competition in the different class categories.
Arthur Blick, federation of motorsport clubs of Uganda (FMU) Deputy Vice President, says that this event will help riders fine-tune themselves ahead of Namibia in August.
“The track is 50% sandy and the continental championship will be held on a sandy track which will be an advantage for the national team riders who will travel to Namibia,” noted Blick.

The sixth national outing will be held on Smart Beach in Mityana this Sunday.
