Kakira Rugby Club has officially announced its relocation from Kakira to The Ruck Yard Sports Club, commonly known as the Jinja Rugby Grounds.
The move marks a major structural change for the club as it establishes a new home ground and strengthens its preparations for the upcoming competitive seasons.
The development was announced at The Ruck Yard Sports Club in Jinja yesterday.
Officials from Kakira Rugby Club and The Ruck Yard Sports Club described the move as a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the club and promoting the growth and development of rugby in the region.
Kakira Rugby Club’s senior men’s team, the Kakira Simbas, earned promotion to the top-tier Uganda Rugby Premiership ahead of the 2026 season.
