Cricket Uganda’s mass participation programme continues to spread across the country through its regional development hubs as the game reaches more schools in line with the new Sports Act and the federation drive.

This week, activation and training sessions were held in Tororo, Masaka, Mbarara, Bushenyi, Jinja, Arua, Buhweju and other areas with schools like St Peter’s College Tororo, St Leo’s College, Mvara SS, Ntare School, Bweranyangi Girls, Kashaka Girls and Jinja SS embracing the game.

Learners and teachers took part in batting, bowling, fielding, wicket-keeping and game awareness sessions while more schools continue to join Uganda’s growing cricket family.

Cricket Uganda expressed commitment to taking the gentleman’s game to every corner of the country through schools and community programmes.
