he 2025/26 Pepsi University Football league is set to kick off this Thursday 25th, September, 2025 with two fixtures at the Hamz Nakivubo stadium.
According to released match-day 1 fixtures, defending champions Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) travel to former winners Kampala University (KU) in the opening game of the season before ISBAT locks horns with Kyambogo University that returns from suspension.
Hamz Nakivubo stadium developer Dr. Hamis Kiggundu has granted free access and drinks to the fans as he continues to add a brick on Ugandan football and sports at large.
It is the first time that the University league is played at the reconstructed Nakivubo stadium, and the university students look forward to watching the games in both a secure and comfortable environment.
Meanwhile, Uganda Christian University (UCU) will entertain Ndejje in Mukono on Friday as matchday one continues,
University of Kisubi will take on Mountains of the Moon in Entebbe while KIU will host Mbarara University in Nsambya on Sunday.
