The Uganda boxing champions returns this Saturday in Lugogo arena with 20 exciting bouts on the card. The main bout has Reagan Magumba against Reagan Lubega in the five-rounds light welter bout that has attracted attention online.
Magumba heads musician Alien Skin’s security team while Lubega heads Nina Rose’s security team – which is making the battle unpredictable but also attractive.
The fighters underwent medical examination and weigh-in on Friday ahead of the fight night.
“I look at the title belt every season and it is no different this year. Whoever is in my way should know. The hand has always disturbed me but I have worked on it, so my fans should expect the best because I am ready,” Magumba roared to the fangone Forest fan base and his own fans.
For Lubega, it is an opportunity to prove his worth. He says that his fans should expect victory in whichever manner.
“I have floored people this year. I am not saying that I am going to win by knockout, but I am going to win in any way,” noted Lubega, who is among the few boxers to win by knockout this season.
Sserugo Bashir, Nerrick Tumusiime, Sande Simon, Edward Mukwaya and Mawanda frank, among others are the other boxers to look forward to.
