The Uganda premier league 2025/26 continues this Tuesday with one fixture at the Hamz Nakivubo stadium as URA host Entebbe UPPC. URA head coach Hussein Mbalangu hopes to begin his Uganda premier league reign at four-time champions URA with a victory having fallen short at the Mapinduzi Cup in Zanzibar.

The former NEC coach is aware that nothing but victory will make his start decent for a club that has won just two matches in eleven rounds so far.

“The players have tried to cope up with the raining and we are very ready. The reason as to why we travelled to Zanzibar was to prepare the boys to cope up quickly to our style and I think we are achieving that,” noted Mbalangu.

The tax collectors are 12th on the log with 11 points, just one above relegation while Entebbe UPPC went into the break doing well and lie 6th with 20 points.

A win for Abdallah Mubiru’s side will lift them above 5th placed Kitara and move within four points of leaders Vipers.

In the last six league meetings, URA have dominated with four wins, one defeat and as many draws.
