The 2025/26 Finance Trust FUFA Women super league continued over the weekend with shocking results for Kampala Queens. The reigning champions who were seeking to leapfrog leaders Kawempe at the summit were defeated 2-0 by She Maroons, who dedicated the win to their late Performance Analyst Faustin Nalugwa that died in an accident a day before the game.

“It has been long ever since we last lost a game. This is only one game and we have been winning so many games. They should keep their heads above the waters and we shall focus on the other fixtures and see how we shall win them,” noted Kampala Queens Assistant Coach Sharon Kizza after their second loss of the season.
In the other games, She Corporate bounced back to winning ways with a 2-0 win against Riness SS, table leaders and record champions Kawempe Muslim secured a controversial win away at Lady Doves, Amus College beat Makerere University 3-0, Asubo Ladies lost 4-0 at home against St Noa Girls-Zana while Olila High did not turn up against Uganda Martyrs.
Kawempe leads the table with 22 points while Kampala Queens and She Corporate are second and third respectively with joint 17 points after 8 games.
