Stanbic Black Pirates Rugby Club was on Wednesday flagged off to Nairobi, Kenya for the 2026 Enterprise Cup Final

The travelling contingent, including twenty-six players plus the technical bench, was seen off by Stanbic Bank Uganda Executive Director Paul Muganwa at the bank’s head offices at Crested Towers in Kampala.
Pirates will face Kenyan giant and defending champion Kabras Sugar in the final on Saturday afternoon at RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.
This will be the first-ever competitive meeting between the two sides in history.
The Uganda champions booked their place in the final after a memorable run in the competition, first upsetting KCB Rugby at Wankulukuku before overcoming Nondies at Kings Park Arena in Bweyogerere.

This year’s final will be hosted by the Kenya Rugby Union for the 2026 edition, while next year’s Enterprise Cup final is scheduled to be staged in Kampala, Uganda.
The Ugandan side will now be aiming to cap off their impressive campaign with silverware against one of Kenya’s top rugby clubs.
