Former Uganda Cranes striker Diego Hamis Kizza saw a needless red card on Wednesday at the 2026 Hamz football tournament returned with two exciting fixtures yesterday at the Hamz Nakivubo stadium.

Kiiza featured in the opening fixture, ending up on the losing side as Keri Investments lost 3-1 to Born Talent FC-Mbuya.

Kizza was shown red in a moment of madness after an altercation with the man in the center a few seconds after his booking.

Born Talent FC moved to second place with 6 points while Keri Investments are second with 3 points after three games.

This fixture only acted as an icebreaker before the crowd pulling Man United Ug fans FC took on Tuli Bulala FC under the flood lights.

However, the end-to-end affair produced no goals with the sides settling for a barren stalemate.

Man United stayed top of group D with 7 points from three games while winless Tulibula Family are second with 2 points.

Action returns this Thursday with two fixtures as Akright City take on Park View before Block FC takes on Namutamba at Hamz Nakivubo stadium.

Only the group leader and second placed side qualify to the knockout stage.

The tournament bankrolled by Hamz Group of companies with a total of Shs150m prize money at stake.
