Uganda Athletics has entered into a three-year partnership with JK Media Agency aimed at elevating the coverage and promotion of athletics in Uganda.

The partnership, unveiled on Tuesday, seeks to strengthen sports storytelling, amplify the voices and achievements of Ugandan athletes, and support talent development across the country, according to Dominic Otuchet, the Uganda athletics president.
Through the partnership, Uganda Athletics and JK Media Agency will work to create greater visibility for athletes while telling stories that inspire, promote the sport, and open up more opportunities for emerging talent.

The initiative is expected to contribute to the growth of athletics by connecting athletes with wider audiences and highlighting their journeys both on and off the track.
The JK Media Agency director Joseph Kigozi said that they will work to elevate athletics coverage, strengthen storytelling and support talent development across Uganda.
Athletics is one of Uganda’s golden sports but lacks attention especially from the grassroot. The partnership will help grow the sport and create greater opportunities.
