A team of 12 Kampala University players will depart this Thursday to Nairobi, Kenya for the 7th Kenya International Woodball Championships due this weekend.
The team comprising six men and six women selected by Coach Lillian Zawedde is under the leadership of Sports Tutor Madam Martha Soigi.
It is the first time Kampala University participates in the Championship as the intuition intensifies its commitment to sports development and international competition.
The team has been preparing with determination and is ready to compete against athletes from different countries at the international championship.
Participation is expected to provide valuable exposure to the players while further strengthening Kampala University’s presence on the international Woodball stage, according to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Badru Kateregga.
