MultiChoice Uganda has launched the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) by rallying behind the Uganda Cranes.
In a move that demonstrates their dedication to enriching lives through world-class sports entertainment by celebrating Uganda’s love for football, SuperSport will be broadcasting all 52 games of the tournament live.

To enhance the experience, SuperSport is introducing a dedicated pop-up channel, SuperSport AFCON (SS AFCON), which will broadcast all AFCON matches live, complemented by in-depth pre-match and post-match analysis on both DStv and GOtv. The matches will also be broadcast on SuperSport Africa 2on both platforms.
Fans will get to see up-to-the-minute highlights, over and above the 24-hour dedicated AFCON 2025 channel, as well as magazine shows and podcasts.
“With AFCON coinciding with the festive season, we have a unique opportunity to appreciate them through exciting offers that ensure they can watch the Uganda Cranes in action at the tournament.
We have subsidised the price of decoders to give more Ugandans access to an endless world of entertainment.
Nellie Mwandha, the Head Customer Value Management at MultiChoice Uganda, called on Ugandans to rally behind the national team with all games available on SuperSport.
“We witnessed the incredible spirit with which Ugandans rallied behind the national team during CHAN, and we are committed to ensuring they can enjoy the Cranes’ journey in Africa’s most prestigious football tournament from the comfort of their homes,” noted Mwandha.

The 35th edition of the tournament will be hosted in Morocco from 21st December 2025 to 18th January 2026 and is expected to keep Ugandans glued to their screens.
