The race for the remaining slots to the 2025 Nile Special national pool open championship gets harder every after each qualification weekend. With top male players struggling to make their way to the grand finale due December 21st at the Lugogo arena, the women’s category is equally competitive.
Only nine qualifying slots remain, with venues set at Sol View (Iganga), Paul Games (Mbarara), and Kings Spot (Entebbe).
So far, 19 qualifiers have secured their places, joining the top-ranked four ladies who automatically advance to Lugogo, rounding off a 32-player field for the grand finale.
Choice Bar’s team, including Sharon Mirembe, Brenda Kakyo, and Goretti Kabasinguzi, has been among the top performers.
With the final qualifiers underway this weekend, anticipation is building for a grand finale that promises drama, skill, and the crowning of the country’s top pool talent.
