After serving at the Uganda premier league secretariat for over a decade, league manager Paul Kabaikaramu is set to leave the UPL secretariat, this website has exclusively learnt.
According to highly placed sources at the FUFA Complex, the FUFA President Hon. Moses Magogo wants to move the competent Kabaikaramu to the FUFA complex to beef up the competitions department with major shakeups coming at the underperforming UPL secretariat.
Kabaikaramu is one of the 15 UPL staff, as per records on the UPL website. He is the longest serving, the most reliable, innovative and experienced.

“The FUFA President wants to bring Kabaikaramu to FUFA. He sees him as a very competent resource but his works are somehow darkened in the nonprogressive UPL,” a source intimated. There are going to be shakeups at the UPL secretariat with a new CEO in the line.
The FUFA President is definitely not happy with the UPL secretariat’s performance,” added the source. It is not a secret that Magogo is unhappy with the growth of UPL and believes that the people behind the product have not done enough.
While appearing on NBS Sport, Magogo publicly expressed disappointment with how the UPL secretariat has performed with failure to retain and attract sponsors, branding and unprofessional clubs conduct as the major points of concern.
