Match day one of the 2025/26 Pepsi University football league is scheduled for this Thursday, 25th September, 2025 with two fixtures to be played at the Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.

Holders Uganda Martyrs face former champions Kampala University in the opening game before ISBAT lock horns with returning Kyambogo University later.
It is the first time that the University league is played at the reconstructed Nakivubo stadium and the university students are already looking forward to supporting their respective team in a secure and comfortable facility.

Ahead of the kick off, International Business, Science And Technology University (ISBAT) have named their 20-man squad for the 2025/26 Pepsi University Football League as they get ready for their third appearance in the competition.
The squad that has only 12 players retained from last season, is under coach Edwin Haumba and is tasked to lead the side to the knockout stage for the first time.
ISBAT that are in group C alongside Nkumba University, Busitema University, Soroti University, YMCA, and Kyambogo University have set the knockout stage as their target, having failed to get out of the group stage in the last two editions.
