After signing a two-year deal with BUL FC, Lawrence Kambugu has set the targets high.
Kambugu joined the Eastern Giants from Ntugasaze FC that trades in the second tier – FUFA Big League – where he was the top scorer with 15 goals last season.

The youthful striker is a product of Rays of Grace Academy but has experience in top flight football having featured for Gaddafi FC in the Uganda Premier League.
“I thank God and BUL FC for the opportunity. I am here to help this club meet its targets. It is a big team with a winning mentality, and I love winning, too,” he noted.
“I also want to thank Rays of Grace academy for spotting and nurturing my talent. That academy is just the best in the country and you will see more products from it,” he added.
Coach Abbey Kikomeko believes that the striker whose ambition is to play in Europe will help them score more goals after struggling upfront last season.
“We struggled with scoring goals last season, mostly in the first round. We opted to widen our striking line, thus adding Lawrence to our attacking depth. We believe he is a good addition to the team,” said Kikomeko.

BUL played to a goalless stalemate as they started their FUFA Super 8 title defense over the weekend at the Hamz Nakivubo stadium.
