
After leaving Uganda premier league secretariat, Paul Kabaikaramu has joined the Afcon secretariat in preparation for the CHAN 2024 and Afcon 2027 tournament that Uganda is set to co-host alongside Kenya and Tanzania.
This website has been reliably informed that Kabairakamu was recommended by FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo to manage all football related issues at the secretariat.
Despite evident Uganda premier league struggles, Kabairakamu built a strong reputation in the 14 years he spent as the Uganda premier league manager. Magogo finds him as an experienced, innovative and organized football manager who he wants to join FUFA Competitions department after the Afcon contract.
In the same way, Decolas Kiiza has also joined the Afcon secretariat. Kiiza is heading all football operations.
The duo are accorded cars, offices and impressive renumeration to diligently do the work. Kiiza has been the FUFA Deputy CEO in charge of football.
The 2024 CHAN tournament is kicking off next month in the three East African countries with the tournament working a precursor to the Afcon 2027.
