BOMBERS: Uganda starts on the high at the Africa zone 3

Ten Ugandan boxers started on the high at the ongoing Africa Zone 3 Boxing Championships held in Nairobi, Kenya. Away from Kato Kazibwe, all the other boxers in action attained victory at the quarter finals with Aziz Ringo coming as the biggest winner, having stopped Tanzania’s Emanuek Augustino in the 2nd round during their 92kgs bout.

Kassim Murungi unanimously beat Badibanga Badianyama from Congo, Matovu Livingstone beat Kelvin Maina from Kenya by split decision, Alfred Ojok dominated Rwanda’s Patrick Ndiyashimye, Edward Mukwaya overwhelmed Joseph Shigali from Kenya, Jimmy Adriko beat Ethan Main afro Kenya, Brenda Muduwa beat Nkelani Bawala from Congo while Alex Kanaabi beat Ethiopia’s Ermivas Mesfin.
