The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has released the first-round fixtures for the 2026/2027 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League (FWSL) season following the successful completion of the club licensing process.
The new season will kick off next Saturday, with reigning champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC hosting newly promoted Jinja United WFC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

The opening day will also mark the introduction of season double headers, with women’s league matches scheduled alongside Uganda Premier League fixtures at selected venues.
FUFA Competitions Director Shawn Mubiru explained that seven double headers will be staged during the first round at three venues.
Matches will now kick off at 4:00 PM across the country after the change was approved by the FUFA Executive Committee.
The remaining five fixtures on the opening weekend will be played on Sunday.
The 2026/2027 campaign features 12 teams.
