The Edgars Soccer Academy is set for a football trip to Germany as the talented youngsters endeavor to showcase their skills.

The delegation, comprising more than 30 players, was flagged off at African Bible University in Lubowa.

The 12-day trip will give the young players an opportunity to participate in training sessions, test their abilities, and gain a deeper understanding of the game.

The academy was founded by former SC Villa star and current FUFA CEO Edgar Watson.

“We are happy to give our youngsters exposure and a chance to showcase their talents. Such trips are not for football, but experience so those who have travelled return with knowledge to pass on to others so as to do things better,” noted Watson.

The tour will also provide a platform for the players to showcase their talent at an international level, build confidence, and attract scouts as well as football development programmes.
