The 2025/26 Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 concluded on Tuesday with surprise performances from different grounds. At some grounds, former Uganda premier league sides Soltilo Bright stars, Wakiso Giants and Paidha Black Angels did not survive third tier sides that bundled them out of this season’s competition.

Wakiso Giants were eliminated by Western region third tier side Mutolere SC 4-3 in post-match spot kicks after a 2-all draw. Pius Wangi and Duncan Sseninde missed their kicks to give the home side coached by former Uganda Cranes midfielder Patrick Ochan a ticket to the round of 32.
Elsewhere, Soltilo Brightstars fell to Melody star fc 5-4 in penalties after a barren normal time stalemate while Paidha Black Angels lost 2-1 away to Pajule Lions in Pader.
In the other results, Kataka beat Garuga Stars 5-4 in penalties after a goalless draw, Kigezi Home boys beat Lugazi Nabugabo United 2-1, Kaaro Karungi saw off Bwondha Victoria FC 1-0 while Bunyaruguru were 3-0 winners against Booma FC.
